About Todd

There are no words to adequately capture the essence of who Todd was, the enormous energy and laughter he brought into the room when he entered. From the time he was little Todd cared deeply for others and made friends everywhere he went. He showed genuine kindness, not only accepting people as they were, but encouraging them to accept and value themselves. Todd never did the things he did for recognition, it was just a part of who he was. He had the ability to make everyone he met feel important. He listened and he really cared.

Todd had a confidence in himself that was unmatched, he never doubted himself and lived life at full speed. His was a natural confidence that you could feel when he walked into the room. He had such a quick wit and made those around him laugh every day.

Todd has a way of making you feel so loved, even if I had not seen him in years, he would just make it seem like we had never been apart. I learned he treated everyone with the same unconditional love that he shared with me!

It was really hard to be in a bad mood around him, his laugh, his smile were infectious.

What struck me was his self assurance. He bopped into Vic’s house where her 2 profoundly challenged children lived and engaged with them with no hesitation or fear, just enthusiastic joy. He seemed always to have a smile on his face.

I loved that he took every opportunity to live absolutely wild and carefree, keeping everyone laughing and smiling in the process

Every encounter I had with him was fun and positive. He had a beautiful, caring, giving heart.

That look he would give when he was being a bit naughty as an 8th grader. It was hard to get really mad at him, and I think he knew it.

I loved that he never knew what he was going to do next. He was a true wild child.

…Todd befriended my son Gideon at school and AKA – Gideon is on the autism spectrum so traditionally making friends is tough. Todd seemed to befriend him and Gideon would share how funny Todd was and how they laughed together. Gideon still talks of Todd and what a good friend he was.

My favorite thing about Todd was that I could talk to him about anything I ever needed, and no matter what he would find a way to cheer me up.

His great smile! I was amazed by how many lives he touched in his short time on earth.

Todd was the happiest kid, always a smile on his face. He loved life and all living things. Very respectful and he would never forget to thank you for anything you would do for him.
